Sonorex
Denver-Vail Orthopedics is proud to announce that we now have a Sonorex machine to provide some alternative treatments for soft tissue conditions in selected patients. Sonorex is a device which uses Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) to stimulate the healing process in various soft tissue conditions. The Sonorex device has been used to successfully treat conditions, such as, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff tendinitis, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, Achilles tendinitis, patellar tendinitis, and various other soft tissue conditions. Treatment consists of three (3) weekly shock wave sessions. These typically last for 15-20 minutes. The goal is to concentrate the shock wave on the area of greatest discomfort. The physicians at Denver-Vail Orthopedics would be happy to discuss if this is a good option for you.
