Dr. Cary R. Motz joined Denver-Vail Orthopedics, P.C. in 2000 and is a board certified orthopedic surgeon through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Along with being trained in general orthopedics Dr. Motz specializes in knee and shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction, sports medicine, and believes that good communication with his patients is the key to a successful treatment outcome.
Dr. Motz received his undergraduate degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Oklahoma. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Motz completed the San Diego Sports Medicine Arthroscopy Fellowship, focusing on advanced techniques in knee and shoulder arthroscopy. He is currently the team physician for Grandview High School as well as Rock Canyon High School. He previously served as the Medical Director for the Colorado Storm Soccer Club. His hobbies include playing golf and skiing.
