Lewis H. Oster, M.D.
Specializing in Adult & Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery of the Elbow, Wrist and Hand
Dr. Oster is a board certified orthopedic hand surgeon who has been practicing in the Denver Metro area for more than 20 years. He is fellowship trained – the highest level of hand surgery training available – and specializes in all aspects of upper extremity surgery including disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow. Dr. Oster enjoys providing care to patients of all ages, from the newborn with congenital issues to the adult with traumatic problems and arthritis. Dr. Oster strives to work with patients to help them understand the nature of their problem and how various treatment approaches can improve or repair the problem. He believes that knowledgeable patients make the best decisions about their own treatment.
Dr. Oster received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa with honors. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa, College of Medicine. Dr. Oster fulfilled his flexible orthopedic surgery internship at University of Nebraska and his orthopedic surgery residency at Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed a hand/microsurgery fellowship at the University of Iowa
