Dr. Mark S. Failinger joined Denver-Vail Orthopedics, P.C. in 1993 and is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. While he treats a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and problems, his chief interests lie in the disorders of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Failinger works with his patients to develop a treatment plan that utilizes both non-surgical and surgical alternatives. If surgery is necessary Dr. Failinger believes in an evidenced based and multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and recovery of each patient. His compassion, dedication, knowledge and ability to explain each phase of injury and recovery are what make him extraordinary.
Dr. Failinger graduated from St. Olaf College and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Failinger is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Denver Medical Society and the Clinical Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Failinger has served as the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Hospital in Denver.
