Scott G. Resig, M.D.
Specializing in Surgery of the Foot and Ankle, Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine
Dr. Resig moved to Denver and joined Denver-Vail Orthopedics, P.C. in 2004 and is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in complex conditions of the foot and ankle as well as total hip, knee and ankle replacement and is also trained in general orthopedics.
Dr. Resig pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, graduating with distinction. He received his medical degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. After completing his residency he pursued fellowship training at the Adidas Sports Medicine Institutes and then continued his fellowship training in orthopedic foot & ankle surgery at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Because he enjoys competitive sports he is familiar with the frustrations that an injury can cause. Therefore, Dr. Resig believes every patient deserves to receive the finest orthopedic care in a compassionate and professional atmosphere.
When Dr. Resig is not practicing medicine he enjoys Running Marathons, Skiing, Riding his Harley and is an outdoors enthusiast.
